The new centre will be situated on a spacious 10,000 square meters at 2 McLennan Court, North Lakes, accommodating the needs of enthusiastic adventurers.

Mayor Flannery expressed his enthusiasm for the project, highlighting its positive impact on the local economy.

"The centre will deliver 100 jobs and generate $5.6 million in local economic activity annually by its third year of operation," he stated.

The approval of the play centre comes on the heels of another exciting development nearby. The recently approved $70 million eco-tourism hotel is expected to contribute to the growth and diversification of the North Lakes economy.

Deputy Mayor and local Councillor Jodie Shipway expressed her delight in welcoming the new investor and the play centre to the region.

"The Jungle Adventure Play Centre will be a great addition to North Lakes and surrounds as it provides families with a safe, friendly, and sun-protected space. This centre will be enjoyed by local families while helping to attract new visitors to the area," Shipway remarked.

Construction on the Jungle Adventure Play Centre is scheduled to commence in 2023 and is expected to be completed by 2024.
